The old ceiling fan is coming down. In its place: an Atomberg Studio Nexus, 1200 mm, Dark Walnut metal blades with a wood-grain finish. Electrician Nagabhushan does the swap on the existing ceiling hook. The point of the video is simple. Can a BLDC fan in a studio be quiet at full boost?
On the channel they unboxed it, assembled it on the table, hung it, and ran a noise test. This is the write-up.
Why they switched
They wanted a studio that does not hum. A BLDC motor, as they put it, should give you air noise, not motor noise. Lower running cost, a sleeker look, and a remote instead of the old wall regulator.
That last bit matters on site. The old wall regulator has to be bypassed. This fan is remote-only. Leave the old regulator in the circuit and you will fight the machine.
The carton on camera: Save up to ₹1,500 per year. That is a box claim, not a bill they opened. Warranty on the box: 2+1 years. Register and you get three years total, as he said on camera.
What was actually on the ceiling
Atomberg Studio Nexus Smart, 1200 mm, Dark Walnut. Black centre cap with atomberg printed on it, white LED ring around it. They did not put a website listing on screen. They showed the box and the fan.
The Amazon.in listing that matches that colour and size (not the four other Atomberg 1200 mm links in the YouTube description):

Midnight Black is a different colour on the same family (Amazon ASIN B0DZP7G3B1). That is not the wood-grain unit on this ceiling.
The YouTube description lists Renesa Enzel, Efficio Alpha, Renesa Smart, and Ameza under a “Buy Atomberg Studio Nexus” heading. Those are other Atomberg 1200 mm fans. They are not the Studio Nexus on camera. Do not order one of those four thinking it is this install.
What is in the box (from the unboxing)
Motor. Three metal blades. Downrod. Rod sleeve. Upper and lower canopies. Mounting clamp kit. Remote with battery. Warranty card.
They assembled it on the table first: downrod and clamp onto the motor, wires through the rod, blades on, canopies slid onto the rod. Then the old fan came down. The new one hangs on the same ceiling hook. Mains wires. Bypass the old regulator. Slide the top canopy flush with the ceiling.
Noise test
Highest setting. Boost. His line on camera: he can literally only hear the air. He cannot hear the motor. He cannot hear any creaking.
That is the whole test. Not a lab dB meter. A studio, boost, ears.
Remote (what they actually pressed)
Power. Boost (highest speed). The centre LED ring as a night lamp, on and off. Sleep and timer (1H, 2H) were explained. They did not walk those timer buttons on camera. Do not invent app or Alexa from this video. They used the remote in the room.
Closing
Beautifully done, he said. Ready for summer. If you still have a wall regulator on a BLDC remote fan, bypass it. If you want the wood-grain Studio Nexus that is on this ceiling, that is the Dark Walnut 1200 mm unit, not the cheaper 1200 mm names in the description list.
